Godzilla

#1-24

Unlike the most recent run of Godzilla under the Dark Horse label, this series was published before the days of G-force, the days when Godzilla could be treated as a good guy. S.H.I.E.L.D. was all the G-force this series needed. As with the 90’s Godzilla books, Marvel only had the rights to use Godzilla in the comics. This means that Mothra, Ghidora, Rodan, etc. did not appear in them. In place were appearances by the Fantastic Four, a giant Shogun Warrior type robot named Red Ronin, and a giant bat-like creature called Batragon. This could be where Kevin Maguire got (stole?) the idea for Bagora, the monster featured in Godzilla #3 and #4.
