| R.I.P. Brasher#1-4Brasher, a city cop, is after a demonic serial killer who drives iron spikes through the skulls of his victims. He is nailed in a confrontation with the killer and his soul is transported to the after life. It is here that he bargains with a “being of light” for a chance to go back and avenge his murder as a reanimated corpse. It is only after his girlfriend, a social worker, is nailed that he finds and savagely brings about the killer’s end. Upon returning to the afterlife it is made clear to him that what he has done has lowered him to the murder’s level and that he is forever banished from paradise to walk the earth as an avenging demon forever.
